Devlog #5 (April 2025)
Hello everyone,
Before talking about the updates, I just wanted to clear up a few questions that have been popping up lately:
- When’s the release date?
The full game will be released in 2025 (aka this year)~ No chapter-by-chapter drip-feed here, you’ll be getting the complete experience all at once!
- Is it going to be paid? If so, how much?
It’s gonna cost you one million dollars to survive the pixies' chaos, another million to escape, and an additional 100 million just to make your selected pixie happy... Kidding, kidding! (≧▽≦) It’ll be 100% free at launch ^^
- Will there be more customization options, such as skin tones, hairstyles, etc..?
We’d love to expand on them eventually, but for now, they’re on the back burner (way waaaay back). Finishing the full game is the top priority!

The Good
We’ve officially past 350 ratings (and by the time I’m typing this, we’re already creeping up on 400— like, HELLO?! WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?? (｡>﹏<｡) Thank you endlessly for all the love and support since the last devlog. Seeing all of you engage, theorize, and cheer for the game has been so overwhelmingly AHHHHHHHHH-worthy that my brain is doing constant happy cartwheels!
Also… MORE FANART?!?!
I’m seriously gonna melt into a puddle over here. Huge shoutout to Lotuslavi for the breathtaking Helios art and Pipalapeda for the insanely fabulous Kai piece! (Pleaseeee let me share them— requesting permission with sparkly eyes).
P.S Remember when I teased the idea of adding a new Helios CG to celebrate the very first fanart ever being of Helios?
WELL. GUESS. WHAT. WE’RE DOING IT!!! Here’s a sneaky little teaser for the curious minds~ Any guesses about what the rest of the image looks like? ^^
As for the script, I'm chipping away at it day by day! Right now, I'm neck-deep in Adonis’ route (and omg he is NOT making it easy, send help or I'm gonna get killed LOL) Might even sneak in a CG preview sometime soon.
P.S Maybe the FIRST fanfic for CA will also have a special surprise, who knows... hehe~
The Bad
Small confession: I'm drowning in finals right now. Some of you may have noticed I’ve been a little slow replying to comments— I SWEAR I’m not ignoring you!! My tabs are open like a shrine, but time is against me right now.
That means, unfortunately, there won’t be a May devlog. My profs are hitting me with all the boss battles at once, and I STILL have 7 cursed exams left to survive. Please send all your lucky vibes, prayers, and caffeinated wishes my way.
In Closing
Anyways, thank you all so, so much for your patience, kindness, and excitement. As always, feel free to drop your theories, thoughts, or just come yell about your faves! I live for it MUAHAHAHA!!! Real talk— at this point, we seriously need a name for the CA fanbase!

I'm gonna pay full price for this game when it comes out, simply because it's getting released all at once, plus the 18+ spicy stuff. I know that we can download it for free, which is super generous, but I really want to encourage more people to wait until they've actually got a full game. The 'chapter-by-chapter drip-feed' is super annoying (even if I do understand why it's necessary sometimes).
I really like the full game release. I personally prefer it when creators drop the full game because I enjoy playing the game as a whole, so thank you for going with that approach <3.
ALSO FREE?! With how much is going into the game, I would not put it against you if you made it a pay-to-play game, so this is amazing <3

Confession :I might do fan fictions. Yapping is my forte sooo might as well put the skills to use right? It will be a bit difficult for the fanarts since I FINALLY decided to try out digital and I’m not the best with that medium obv ☠️
Now for what the rest of the image looks like … there seems to be a hint of condescension in his face. So he’s probably basking in his own glory. Convincing Sev of his own importance ? Doing lengthy speeches ? Mindfucking ?

Also, the DAY you drop a fanfic, I’m gonna have a legit heart attack, I can already picture how much thought and love you’re gonna pour into it, and I’m gonna be a total mess of joy LOL But seriously, no rush or pressure on the fanart at all! Whatever makes you comfy. I absolutely love having your support, in whatever form it comes (and hey, totally relatable on the difficulty of digital drawing, I can only do stick figures).

Yep, sad to say, no devlog updates for the next month since I won’t have much to talk about. UNLESS by some miracle I get some free time to do something and then post it. But I’m definitely gonna keep thinking on the fandom name— my mind is in exam mode, so I can’t go full brain juice, but I’m def aiming for something psychologically dark and fantasy-esque (like nightly crow mentioned above).
